West African Muslim Association in UK (WAMA)

WAMA is a charity organisation registered and established in January 2009. it has flourished to now become a vibrant organisation for the Muslim community but also for a cohesion with wider society.
WAMA is involved in schooling and mentoring children of different ages.
WAMA members are also actively involved in Africa where it helps in building hospital and supporting mosques.

The tenets of WAMA is to advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of the public, in particular the African communities in general, and the west African communities in particular through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, producing and / or distributing literature on Islam to enlighten others about the Islamic faith, to promote the benefit of the African communities in general and the west African communities in particular.

WAMA aims to achieve these tenets by:

(A) The advancement of education and training
(B) The relief of poverty, sickness and distress.
(C) The provision of good health
(D) The provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare
