WHAT DO WE AIM TO DO?

Our primary aim is to identify partnerships and work with these partners to create opportunities for migrant and refugee women and empower them to fulfill their potentials by promoting the relieve of poverty and sickness, advancing education, protecting and preserving health, providing information, advice, translation and interpreting service and other support services in matters of welfare benefits, housing, health, immigration and education particularly of refugees, migrant women and children with fewer opportunities; who are in condition of need, hardship, sickness, isolation or distress by reason of their social and economic circumstances

Our Vision

Our vision is to advance the cause of African women and their families through advocacy, patronage and promotion within the general population and the State apparatus. We aim to:

  • Bring together a wide range of institutions in health, social services and welfare
  • Mobilise, harness and maximixe available resources
  • Understand the variety of beliefs, theories and models of practice in operation and their impact on service provision
  • Address inadequacies in service provision and redress poor access to services and amenities.
